FRSC Corps Marshal, Oba Isenibi, Others Commission Dangote Truck Driving School at Obajana

In a bid to reduce road crashes of its Trucks, the Dangote Transport on Wednesday Commissioned the Dangote Articulated Truck Driving School.

The Driving School was commissioned by the Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Dr. Boboye Olayemi Oyeyemi.

Speaking at the ceremony which attracted some stakeholders and Traditional Rulers, the FRSC Corps Marshal, commended Alhaji Aliko Dangote, President and Chief Executive of the Dangote Group, for taking “a big step” towards reducing truck accidents.

Boboye described the development as an important move that will benefit not only the Dangote Group of Company but Drivers across the country.

In his words:

This is what we’ve been waiting for. You made it. I have observed that Dangote has done a lot to address truck crashes and I must commend them for this.

According to the FRSC Boss, the establishment of the Driving School which is long overdue, will enlighten truck drivers on the driving skills.

Earlier, the National Director, Logistics of the Dangote Cement, Transport Unit, Mr. Juan Rincon, pointed out that the establishment of the Driving school is geared towards reducing cases of road accidents occasioned by trucks in the Company.

The Bajana of Obajana, HRH Oba Idowu Isenibi, who noted that the Driving School is a welcome development, expressed delight that it will reduce to barest minimum  issues of truck crashes and lost of lives.

Oba Isenibi described the President of the Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote as God sent to the host communities, urging other investors to emulate him.
