A team from the Kogi State Coordinating Office of Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscape (ACReSAL) has begun survey of 30 hectares of land in Ijumu Local Government Area.
Recall that the Transition Caretaker Chairman, Alh. Haruna Ibrahim Launched the World Bank-supported project in Iyara last week with a pledge to give it the needed support that will ensure its overall success.

The Caretaker Chairman, who was represented by his Chief of Staff, Ibiyeye Henry Sunday expressed optimism that when the projects are completed, they will also generate employment opportunities for the teeming youths of the Local Government.
He appreciated Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and the Project Coordinator of ACReSAL, Barr. Ladi Jatto for siting the project in Ijumu Local Government, describing it as a demonstration of love for the people of the Area.
Alhaji Haruna said he is excited that the Project is coming up during his time and urged the host community and would be beneficiaries to cooperate with the official to enable them realize the objective of the Project.
Leader of the Kogi ACReSAL Team, Mrs. Rachel Anuwe thanked the Caretaker Chairman for the support and promised to execute the project in line with international standards.
She appreciated the State Government for paying the Counterpart Fund for the Project and for its support to the Project.
