The Rector, Federal College of Dental Technology and Therapy Enugu, Prof. John Emaimo has described the in-house-training, organised by the bursary department for Bursary Staff as an initiative towards enhancing productivity for success.

In his opening address, Emaimo said that the college management is pleased with the bursary department for seeing it timely for the in-house training, which he said is aimed at updating and enhancing the skills and knowledge of the bursary staff members.

“As we navigate the challenges ahead, including the impact of government policies, such as student’s loan and the need for enhanced accountability, it is crucial that we equip ourselves with the necessary tools and expertise to excel in our roles.

The initiator of the in-house-training and the college bursar, Mrs Felicia Egbeh told the gathering that the bursary department understand the importance of professional growth and believe that investing in our own development is key to maintaining a competitive edge in today’s dynamic landscape. By this, they have ensured the availability of top-notch resources and facilitators who will provide valuable insights and practical strategies to enhance our productivity and adapt to the evolving demands of government policies.

Addressing the Rector, Mrs Egbeh said that the department recognize that professional development is a shared responsibility, and therefore appreciate the understanding demonstrated by the rector and support in this matter.

She assured the management that the training session has been carefully designed to deliver substantial value, ensuring that every participant receives a solid return on their time investment.
