Teachers Recruitment: Kogi Govt. Makes U-Turn, Launches Online Portal

Contrary to the earlier manual recruitment of Teachers, Kogi State Goverment has made a U-turn by launching an online portal for the employment of Secondary School Teachers.

This is coming few months after over 10,000 applicants submitted their application manually to the Kogi State Science, Technical Education and Teaching Service Commission (STETSCOM).

 

Investigations by The Drum Reporters revealed that the portal has been launched and prospective applicants can begin to apply from 12 midnight on Wednesday.

 

A Source said the recruitment exercise might be concluded before resumption of Schools in a bid to carter for the teachers deficit in Secondary Schools.

Teachers Recruitment Portal Launch

 

The adoption of the online process is in line with the commitment of the New Direction Administration to embracing Information and Communication Technology ICT.
