The Provost of Kogi State College of Education Ankpa, Dr. Paul Femi Fashagba has paid a courtesy visit to the State Deputy Governor, Elder Joel Salifu Oyibo.
Accompanied by the Bursar, Alh. Itopa Lamidi, the Provost commended the Deputy Governor for being a worthy Ambassador of the College as an Alumni of the Institution.
Dr. Fashagba applauded Elder Oyibo for supporting the advanced New Direction Vision of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, the Chief Servant of the Confluence State.
According to him, the visit was to solicit for the support of the Deputy Governor in actualising his dream of restoring the lost glory of the College which he noted is now getting due attention.
Responding, the Deputy Governor, Elder Joel Salifu Oyibo expressed appreciation to the Governor for the appointment of Dr. Fashagba to head the College and Congratulated the Provost on his appointment.
Elder Oyibo assured of his support and tasked the Provost to do everything humanly possible to give the College a facelift in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of the Governor.
He added that in view of the wealth of experience of Dr. Fashagba, he is optimistic that the school will gain back its lost glory, urging Staff to give him maximum support.
