Obaro of Iyamoye: Elejuku of Ejuku Sends Condolence Message to Iyamoye Community

Following the transition of HRM. Oba Ibrahim Ade Momoh, the Obaro of Iyamoye, the Ejuku Community in Yagba East Local Government Area of Kogi State has sent Condolence Message to the entire Iyamoye Community over the demise of their paramount Ruler.

 

The Message which was signed by HRM. Oba Dr. Folorunsho Lamidi Ayeni, the Elejuku of Ejuku extended the condolences of the Ejuku Traditional Council and people of the Community to Iyamoye and entire Ijumu Kingdom.

 

Oba Ayeni recalled the good relationship between the two Communities and the deceased Traditional Ruler, describing him as a man of peace, humble and compassionate Monarch.

 

On behalf of the people of Ejuku Community in Yagba East Local Government Area, I, Oba Dr. Folorunsho Lamidi Ayeni extend my condolences to our Neighbour, Iyamoye Community over the transition to the land beyond of our dogged Kabiyesi, HRM. Oba Ibrahim Ade Momoh, who joined the ancestors on Sunday this week.

 

According to him, Ejuku people and iyamoye have been a long-time patner in progress in terms of culture and intermarraiges for centuries.

 

He further stated that he saw Late Oba Momoh was last week Thursday during a meeting at the Palace of Obaro of Kabba and did not know that that would be their last encounter.

 

The Ejuku Paramount Ruler enjoined the people of Iyamoye and immediate family of Kabiyesi to take solace in the fact that Allah gives and takes to be around as the Late Oba lived a fulfilled life worthy of emulation.

 

He also extended his sympathy to Prof. Munirat and Prof. Ismaila as well as other friends of Ejuku from the Community, and prayed Allah to grant the Kabiyesi aljanatu fidaus and the family, fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
