The Provost of Kogi State College of Education Ankpa, Dr. Paul Femi Fashagba, officially hosted a high powered distinguished visitation panel from Federal University, Lokoja (FUL), marking a significant step toward the institution’s planned affiliation and the commencement of its Top-Up Study Centre.
According to a statement by Auwal Isa, the Public Relations Officer of the College, the visit forms part of the formal assessment process required for academic affiliation, aimed at expanding KSCOE’s capacity to offer advanced and degree-linked programmes.
The proposed Top-Up Study Centre is designed to provide opportunities for diploma holders and education professionals to upgrade their qualifications in line with current academic and professional standards.
Speaking during the engagement, Dr. Fashagba reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to academic excellence, infrastructural development, and strategic partnerships that will enhance learning outcomes and institutional growth.
He expressed confidence that the panel’s evaluation would further strengthen KSCOE’s readiness to meet affiliation requirements.
