Omolayo Olorundami Bags Ekinrin Adde Community Service Award

The Ekinrin-Adde Community Development Association (EACDA), has enlisted Mr. Omolayo Ige Olorundami as one of the recipients of the Distinguished Community Development Service Award at the forthcoming Awards Night.

 

Mr. Olorundami, a former Financial Secretary of the Kaduna Branch of EACDA, will be honoured in recognition of his contributions to community development.

 

Born in the 1980s, Mr. Omolayo Ige Olorundami is a distinguished son of the Olorundami family of Abudo in Ona Clan, Ekinrin-Adde. He is married to Mrs. Ruth Shola Olorundami (née Moses) from Igbaruku in Yagba Local Government Area of Kogi State, and their marriage is blessed with children.

 

He began his educational journey at LGEA Nursery and Primary School, Kaduna. He subsequently attended BHS Ekinrin-Adde, CCC Ekinrin-Adde, Cross High School, Kaduna, and Haward International School, Kaduna. He later proceeded to Kogi State University for further studies.

 

Mr. Olorundami has built a career spanning both the public and private sectors. He worked with Turnars Building Products, Kaduna, from 2001 to 2003, and later served with the Kaduna State Ministry of Culture and Tourism between 2011 and 2012. He also worked with Dalten Alheri Nigeria Limited, Kaduna, under the leadership of Chief Mrs. Funke Ojo.

 

He currently serves as Sales Representative Manager at Yes Agro Chemical Company, Gombe, under the leadership of Dr. Felix Olarewaju Komolafe.

 

Mr. Olorundami has demonstrated commitment to community service and development. This commitment was evident in his service as Financial Secretary of the Kaduna Branch of EACDA from 2021 to 2025.

 

During his tenure, he contributed to the growth, organization, and financial administration of the association, earning the respect of members and leaders of the branch.

 

Known for his humility, diligence, and commitment to communal advancement, Mr. Olorundami keeps partaking in the courses that promote the progress and unity of his community. His hobbies include reading, travelling, and watching movies.

 

This award is a testament to his predisposition for championing community transformative initiatives and his love for Ekinrin-Adde community.
