The Sanity Multi-Efforts Forum (SMEF) RC 9565689, a non-profit, non-political organization, has commenced its national institutional expansion with a call for qualified Nigerians to head its eight statutory directorates.
In a public notice issued from its National Headquarters at No. 64, IBB Way, Opposite Moremi Restaurant, Lokoja, Kogi State, and signed by the Secretary, Board of Trustees, Amb. Olonila George Dare, the organization said the move marks its transition from movement to full institutional operations.
SMEF, registered on 21st May, 2026 under the Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA) 2020, is the policy, advocacy and citizen-protection arm of the Sanity Brand Ecosystem (SBES).
It traces its origin to the Sanity Must Be It (SMBI) Movement established in 2017 to campaign against extortion, illegal roadblocks, harassment of citizens and disorderliness in public spaces.
According to its CAC certified constitution, SMEF is mandated to promote ethical service delivery in health, education, environment and other sectors; improve road safety and transport professionalism; support citizens facing harassment or extortion; promote accountability, anti-corruption and whistleblower protection; and foster transparency in governance and public spending.
The forum said it is seeking to fill leadership positions for its eight directorates, namely Governance and Accountability; Economic Empowerment and Job Creation; Education and Skills Development; Health and Social Welfare; Environment and Sustainability; Community Development and Social Justice; ICT, Data, Research and Innovation; and Legal, Compliance and Partnerships.
Eligible applicants must be Nigerian citizens of 25 years and above, possess at least OND/NCE or equivalent field experience, be of proven integrity, non-partisan and resident in any state or the FCT.
While prior experience in NGO management, transport administration, public health, education, environment, ICT, legal practice or public policy will be an added advantage, the organization emphasized passion for community development, transparency and the ideals of sanity as core requirements.
SMEF clarified that the advertised roles are volunteer leadership positions with institutional backing and not salaried employment. Appointed Heads will be issued official letters of appointment and identity cards under RC 9565689, and will be entitled to operational support, mobility and data allowances as approved by the Board of Trustees, as well as capacity building opportunities within the wider SBES ecosystem.

The organization fixed 31st October, 2026 as deadline for first batch screening, with interviews scheduled to commence on 3rd November, 2026. It added that application will continue on a rolling basis until all directorates are substantively filled.
SMEF reiterated that it does not charge any application fee and cautioned the public against fraudsters. It further stated that women, youth and persons with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply.
