A Kogi West Senatorial District Aspirant under the Platform of All Progressives Congress (APC) Doctor Muyi Aina says his ambition is aimed at becoming the voice of the people at the red chamber.
Doctor Aina stated this while speaking at a Media Parley organized by Kogi State Council of Nigeria Union of Journalist (NUJ) in Lokoja.
He stated that Security, economic Empowerment and quality representation are cardinal in his manifesto.
Doctor Aina, who noted that he was an arrow head of a youth enterprise innovation that attracted more than nine hundred and eighty million grant to the people of the district, said he was instrumental to the establishment of an Agro Enterprise outfit at Obajana which has empowered many youths.
He described the Media Parley as a welcome development, stressing that it enable aspirants seeking political offices to express their agendas for the people they are aspiring to represent.
Chairman, Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) in the State, Comrade Adeiza Momoh-jimoh said the essence of the Media Parley was to have interface with aspirants seeking for elections to National Assembly from various Constituencies in Kogi state across party lines.
Comrade Momoh-jimoh maintained that if good people shy away from Politics, the bad ones will take over.
He promised Doctor Aina of adequate coverage and charged Journalists to remain proactive in the discharge of their responsibilities.
