Aribido Celebrates Princess Iyabo Soji Okusanya on Nomination for Omo-Atata Award

Comrade Aribido David Jayeoba has celebrated the Executive Director at Access Bank, Princess Iyabo Okusanya on her nomination for the prestigeous Omo-Atata Award  by the Ekinrin Adde Community Development Association.

 

Comrade Aribido in a statement said “Heartfelt congratulations, Iyabo Soji Okusanya, on your well-deserved induction into the esteemed Ekinrin-Adde Omo Atata Hall of Fame!”

 

“Your remarkable contributions to our community’s development and your outstanding career achievements, rising to the esteemed position of Director at Access Bank, one of Africa’s leading financial institutions, are truly inspiring.

 

He added that “Your dedication, hard work, and perseverance have paid off, and this recognition is a testament to your impact.”

 

Princess Iyabo Okusanya will be conferred with the honour at the 2025 edition of Omo-Atata Award at EACDA Awards-Night scheduled to hold on the 20th of June.

 

Princess Iyabo Soji-Okusanya is a Nigerian banker and corporate leader, currently serving as the Executive Director, Corporate and Investment Banking at Access Bank Plc.

 

She began her professional journey with Access Bank in June 1998, and over the course of more than 27 years, she has contributed immensely to the growth of the bank.

A consummate professional, Iyabo is known for her exceptional relationship management skills and strategic thinking.

 

She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria. She became a Chartered Accountant in 1990 and earned her qualification as a Chartered Banker in 1994. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA) and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (FCIB).

 

As a lifelong learner and passionate leader, she has undergone several executive education and leadership development programs both in Nigeria and abroad. She is an alumna of globally renowned institutions including the Harvard Business School (USA), the Institute of Management Development (IMD), Lausanne, Switzerland, and INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France.

 

Princess Iyabo Soji Okusanya is a woman of strong values, compassion and faith. She got married to Adesoji Okusanya in 1994, and together the Union was blessed with children.

 

She’s a mother to many beyond her biological children who is deeply committed to charity and community development. Her passion for supporting widows and orphans is truly remarkable, and she actively channels her resources and influence into uplifting the vulnerable.
