A Renowned Philanthropist, Asiwaju Olatunji Olusoji, has extended his
3 Years Scholarships to 100 Indigent Students in KSCOE, ANKPA, with over 15 Million Naira upfront payment.

The initiative is a boost in the move by the Provost of the College, Dr. Paul Femi Fashagba to engage Public Private Partnership PPP initiative towards increasing students enrollment.

The Philanthropist, who is the Asiwaju of Ayere kingdom and Bashorun Akinjagunla of Ogidi kingdom had last weekend done same at the Kogi State College of Education Technical Mopa.

This move which demonstrates that the Philanthropist is a detribalised Leader has resulted in a transformative opportunity for underprivileged students.

Under the Scholarship, 100 indigent students are expected to study any course of their choice at the College.

The scholarship package will fully cover tuition and other academic-related expenses for selected students across Kogi state, pursuing teacher education at the Institution.

This initiative aims to remove financial barriers to higher education for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Reacting to the development, Dr. Femi Fashagba, Provost of KSCOE Ankpa, expressed profound gratitude to Asiwaju Prince Olusoji Olatunji for the generous gesture.

“This is a shining example of how effective collaboration between public institutions and private individuals can change lives. We are witnessing the real impact of strategic partnerships, and we thank Asiwaju Prince Olusoji Olatunji for this landmark contribution to the future of education in Kogi State.”

The initiative aligns with ongoing efforts of His excellency, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo, the executive Governor of Kogi State in his quest to move education to the next level by expanding access to quality education and empowering the next generation of teachers, who will go on to impact countless lives across the State and Nigeria.

Dr. Fashagba commended the young and great philanthropist and he was particular about the apt and prompt payment of the first tranche of the scholarship fee.

This donation reinforces Asiwaju Prince Olusoji Olatunji’s commitment to a strong legacy of philanthropy, particularly in education and youth development.

The Entire Okun race and by extension Kogi at large is proud of your detribalised approach to youth empowerment.

No wonder, the Leader himself, GYB sounded it loud in Ogidi day, that in due season, you will hear from the state. The Provost on behalf of the college and the students is saying “Agba”.
