Oluwatoyin Oki was born in Zaria, Kaduna state,on the 17th of February, 1976.
She is from Ogidi, Ijumu local government area of Kogi state.
Her parents are Engineer, Elder Michael Malomo Olorunpomi and late Lady evangelist Dorcas Olufunmike Olorunpomi, from the Ogbonnewo family.
She has three male siblings.
She attended Army children’s nursery school, Zaria .
She attended university primary school, Sokoto.
She attended Army day secondary school, Sokoto.
She attended Nana girls secondary school, Sokoto.
She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English language, from the Ahmadu Bello university, Zaria in the year 1999.
She attended the pencils films and television institute,Lagos in the year 2006, where she studied Presentation and acting .
She featured in several tv series and two movies between 2007 and 2010.
In 2016, she began her presentation career as an indigenous TV presenter on the highly rated Orisun Tv.
She hosted shows like, Miliki express ( movies)
and Bo se n’lo.
In 2022, she hosted a cooking budgeting TV show, titled ‘ Soki lobe oge ‘. It was aired on NTA south West ( Ilorin . Abeokuta. Oshogbo . Ibadan. )
In 2023, she launched her own media outfit named 172 IYEMEDIA. A registered company that is focused on the media ; tv, radio productions and other related services. The organization embarked on the journey of being a producer.
Her focus is to highlight the language, cultural values, history and beliefs of the Yoruba people by traveling around the south Western part of Nigeria to document historical facts. Thus , the birth of “JIGI ‘
JIGI was on Africa Magic Yoruba from July 1st, 2024 till December, 2025.
She has received several awards.
In 2017, she was awarded the ‘Iyalaje of theatre ‘ by the Ogidan films caucus.
In 2017, she was awarded the most fashionable TV presenter by mainland TV and fashion show.
In 2020, she was awarded as a culture enthusiast at the ‘Miss culture Nigeria and beauty pageant.
In 2022, she was awarded for her strong voice and vibrant presentation on Orisun Tv by the Image makers global mindset.
In 2022, she was awarded as a cultural ambassador by her immediate community. Okoro youths development association, Ogidi.

In 2024, she was awarded as “Omo iyela legacy ” for her preservation and belief in the Yoruba culture, by MOB entertainment.
In 2024, her community women’s group awarded her with an award of appreciation, for her inspiring leadership contribution and commitment to the successful inauguration of the Glamorous Ladies of Ogidi.
She is an enthusiast of her dialect – okun.
She is fondly followed by her kinsmen because of her presentation style of greeting in Okun language and rendering her oriki.
