Bishop Okwonkwo Donates Relief Materials to Kogi Flood Victims

The General Overseer of The Redeemed Evangelical Mission (TREM), Bishop Mike Okwonkwo on Thursday donated relief materials to Flood Victims in Kogi State.

The Relief Materials which include, bags of rice, semovita, noddles among others were received by the Chairman of Kogi State Chapter of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Bishop Ted Bako.

Representative of the TREM General Overseer, Deacon Bayode Kolade said the donation was the way the Mission decided to identify with those affected by this year’s flood in the State.

He sympathized with the government and people of Kogi State particularly those sacked from their homes by the disaster, urging them to have home in God.

Responding, Kogi State PFN Chairman, Bishop Ted Bako, expressed gratitude to the TREM General Overseer for the gesture, assuring of distribution to actual victims of the devastating flood.

Similarly, Bishop Okwonkwo donated relief materials to members of his Church in Lokoja Branch, saying the gesture is a way of identifying with them at a critical time like this.

The Resident Pastor of TREM in Lokoja, Pastor Usman Simon thanked Bishop Okwonkwo for the act of Philanthropy and prayed God to reward his benevolence
