Governorship Candidate of Action Alliance AA in the November 2023 Gubernatorial Election in Kogi State, Otunba Olayinka Braimoh has condoled with the good people of the Odo-Ape community in Kabba-Bunu Local Government Area, Kogi state over the killing of two persons in their farms by yet unknown people.

The two farmers, Sunday Aiyedero and Mr. Black, a Tiv man, were shot dead in their farms by those suspected to be kidnappers in the tragic occurrence that happened in the community.
As a result, the residents blocked the Kabba-Lokoja route and demanded that the state government and security forces intervene on their behalf by sending troops to search, arrest and prosecute the criminals accordingly.

Remembering how some people in the neighbourhood were recently targeted and abducted for ransom, Otunba Braimoh called the situation worrisome.
He urged the state administration to take property and human safety more seriously and suggested that if the high degree of insecurity in the state becomes too much for them, they should call on the federal government for assistance.
“The abduction and murder of my people in Bunu communities on a daily basis is getting disturbing and intolerable. The state’s government has enough resources to combat the situation but the federal government should be contacted for assistance if the state government is overwhelmed by these shenanigans. My people’s lives and property are precious and ought to be fiercely protected using our common patrimony”, he stated.
Braimoh, who hails from the Kabba-Bumu local government area where the tragic event occurred, has consistently advocated peaceful coexistence and unity of purpose across the state.
