A Philanthropist, Dr. APS Arogundade was on Thursday conferred with an International Humanitarian Award by Women’s Effects Initiative International (WEII).
Presenting the Award, the Director General of WEII, Her Excellency, Arewa Abiola Abimbola Funmilayo said the International body with affiliation with the United Nations deemed it fit to honour Dr. APS Arogundade in recognition of his selfless service in empowering women and youths.
She also used the occasion to announce the appointment of the Grassroots Politician as the Grand Patron Worldwide of the international Organization.
While urging the Awardee to sustain his Humanitarian gesture, Her Excellency, Arewa Abiola commended him for doing the Divine call of raising people.She also present the VISION of WEII PROJECT 2040, ON a Campaign of Better Home Better Society and a Better Generation across the world to the Awardee.
Responding, Dr. APS Arogundade, who is the Chairman of APS Youth Foundation, stated that the honour came to him as a surprise and recognition of his little Humanitarian service.
Dr. Arogundade noted that the honour will spur him to do more for humanity and commended the UN Body for recognizing his modest contribution to uplifting the wellbeing of the down trodden.
He also pledged his commitment to activities of WEII towards giving women a sense of belonging in the society.
Women’s Effects initiatives international (well) is a Unified Global women Non- Governmental Organization Solidly established for the Mobilization and actualization of WEII 2040 project as well as lifting most Vulnerable women from Poverty.
