DSS Confirms Arrest of LP Chieftain, Doyin Okupe

Doyin Okupe, Former spokesperson to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan has been arrested by the  Department of State Services (DSS),

DSS while confirming the arrest, said the Labour Party chieftain was arrested on the instruction of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

The confirmation was made via a statement by the Public Relations Officer of DSS, Dr. Peter Afunanya.

Afunanya said: “Doyin Okupe was intercepted by the DSS at Terminal 1 of Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos, this morning (Thursday) at the instance of the EFCC.
