Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello has forwarded names of 3 Commissioner Nominees to the State Assembly for Confirmation.
The Governor in a statement through his Chief Press Secretary, Onogwu Muhammed said those appointed are; Hon. Kingsley Femi Fanwo from Mopa Muro LGA, Dr Zakeri Usman (Dekina LGA) and Engr. Mohammed Ihiezue Abdulmutalab (Okene LGA).

GOVERNOR YAHAYA BELLO SENDS LIST OF COMMISSIONERS-DESIGNATE TO HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY FOR SCREENING
Kogi State Governor, His Excellency Yahaya Bello has sent the names of three Commissioners-designate to the State House of Assembly for screening .
The nominees are the Former Commissioner for Information and Communications, Hon. Kingsley Femi Fanwo from Mopa Muro LGA, Dr Zakeri Usman (Dekina LGA) and Engr. Mohammed Ihiezue Abdulmutalab (Okene LGA).
Recall that three commissioners in pursuit of their political aspirations resigned from the state cabinet in May in line with section 84(12) of the amended Electoral Act, 2022.
