Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello has provided a solid legacy for the State Education Sector, Executive Chairman of Science, Technical Education and Teaching Service Commission (STETSCOM), Mrs. Cecilia Cook has said.
Mrs. Cook told The Drum Reporters in a exclusive interview that the legacy of the Governor will stand the test of time.
The STESCOM Boss, who joined other top government officials to accompany the Governor on a tour of construction of the GYB Model School Adankolo, commended him for taking the bold step in building the School in line with world class standard.
According to her, the ongoing recruitment of teachers when completed will reposition secondary education in the State as it will provide the necessary manpower for Kogi Schools.
She lauded the Governor for giving attention to the State Education sector which she described as a step in the right direction.
Mrs. Cook assured the Governor of the commitment of teachers in the State, towards achieving the vision of the present administration for the education sector.
