Gov. Bello, Kolawole, Ayoade, Salman, Obaro, Others Storm Kogi ALGON Chairman Son’s Wedding

Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, the Speaker of the State Assembly, Matthew Kolawole, Secretary to the State Government, Folashade Ayoade and Chief of Staff to the Governor, Jamiu Asuku on Saturday stormed the wedding of the State Chairman of ALGON, Alh. Taofiq Isa.
Others who attended the event include; Candidate of the African Democratic Congress ADC for Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency, Salman Idris, State Chairmen of ALGON, Traditional Rulers including Obaro of Kabba, Oba Solomon Owoniyi, the Ijumu Paramount Ruler, the Olujumu of Ijumu, Oba Williams Ayeni as well as well wishers of the Ijumu Council Boss.
The Governor, while speaking at the ceremony, admonished the newly wedded family, Mr. & Mrs Abdulwahab Isah to make God the foundation upon which their home would be built, adding that third parties should not be allowed access in their matrimony.
Governor Bello opined that marriage was a journey between two individuals (Man and Woman) who have made up their minds to remain so irrespective of the challenges that they might encounter.
He urged the couple to however emulate the good lessons and virtues of marriage they have learnt from their parents, top of which he noted was patience, honesty and love

 

The Governor prayed for God to bless their marriage with children, protect the new couples from all forms of evil and grant them long life as a couple.
The Father of the Groom, Alhaji Taofiq thanked the Governor and other dignitaries for sharing in the joy of his family.
The ALGON Chairman urged the newly wedded couples to put God first abd love one another in other to enjoy a perfect home.
