Gov. Ododo’s Aide to Launch Education Empowerment Scheme in Ijumu LG

All is now set for the launching of an Empowerment programme tagged “Gbenga Oshoke Education Empowerment Scheme” (GOEES) in Ijumu Local Government Area.

 

The scheme which is the brainchild of the Senior Special Assistant to the State Governor on Grassroots and Mobilization, Hon. Gbenga Oshoke Sunday is aimed at supporting Governor Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo’s educational renaissance in Kogi State.

 

This is contained in a statement by the Governor’s Aide made available to The Drum Reporter in Lokoja.

 

The statement reads “The office of the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Grassroots and Mobilization presents Gbenga Oshoke Education Empowerment Scheme (GOEES), supporting Governor Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo’s educational renaissance in Kogi State.”

Ododo’s Triumph Is Victory For All – Hon. Oshoke

It stated that GOEES among others will Promote the Governor’s transformative education policies, Support learners in our constituency and align with the Governor’s vision of quality education for all Kogites

 

“Through advocacy, capacity development, student support, and community programs, GOEES drives educational awareness and reinforces education as our legacy.

 

The Scheme according to Hon. GOEES plans to distribute educational materials to constituents in our Ward and some parts of the Local Government Area.

 

The launch will be held on Saturday December 27, 2025 at Aiyede, Ogale, Ijumu LGA, at 2:00pm.
