The Transition Caretaker Chairman Ijumu LGA, Alhaji Ibrahim Haruna has congratulated Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo on his victory at the Governorship Election petition Tribunal.
Recall that the Governorship Tribunal had affirmed the victory of Ododo.
Reacting to the court verdict, Alhaji Haruna, in a Congratulatory message personally signed, said the Court verdict has further legitimized the fact that Governor Ododo won at the last Governorship poll landslide.
The caretaker Chairman said, “the judgement of the tribunal has again put a judicial seal on the mandate freely given to Governor by the kogite in the November Governorship Election.”
Alhaji Haruna called on all kogites to support Governor Ododo administration.
While urging Alhaji Muritala Yakubu Ajaka to see the verdict as the voice of the people, the caretaker Chairman reiterated his conviction in the fact that power belongs to God who bestows it on whom He wishes.
“On behalf of the Government and good people of Ijumu LGA, once again, Congratulates the Governor and our great party the All Progressive Congress (APC), on this landmark victory.” Said the caretaker Chairman.
