Karimi’s Wife, Empowers Women Farmers With Items Worth Millions of Naira

The wife of Sen. Sunday Karimi, representing Kogi West Senatorial District, has distributed farming items worth millions of Naira to women farmers in Kabba Bunu Ijumu Federal Constituency for the 2025 farming season.

 

This is coming after a meeting held by Sen. Karimi with farmers and artisans, during the last Easter celebration, where the “Women Farmers” from Kabba-Bunu Local Government Area made a special request for assistance for the farming season.

The wife of the Senator, Mrs Stellamaris Karimi, Thursday, passionately delivered on the promise made to the group, describe the Senator as a representative concern about the people, particularly the women folks.

 

The Senator’s wife said the fulfillment of the promise to the “Women Farmers” is in consonance with the Senator’s commitment to empower women in the district.

The items distributed includes: sprayer machines, packs of chemicals, Cutlasses, bags of fertilizer, bags of improved maize seedlings, and bags of improved soyabeans seedlings.

 

Reacting to the kind gesture, the President of the Association, Mrs Comfort Job, who received the items with joy and enthusiasm, appreciated the wife of the Senator for being a wonderful supporter of the women folks, especially.

 

She prayed for her and her family and promised never to disappoint in ensuring that every member of the association benefits from the items and use them for the intended purpose.

 

Mrs. Toyin Otitolaye, who led the team on behalf of Mrs Karimi to deliver the items, appreciated the women farmers for their solidarity, patience, and support and prayers always.

 

She promised that the Senator and his wife are more than ever committed to delivering the dividends of democracy to the people of Kogi West.

She promised that more empowerment programs is in the offing to improve on the well-being of the women.
