The Commissioner of Environment, Chief Victor Adewale Omofaiye has congratulated Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello and Kogites on the occasion of the 31st anniversary of the creation of the State.
Chief Omofaiye while speaking with Newsmen in Lokoja on the Anniversary, said the state under the New Direction Administration has been more united.
He particularly stated that the Ebigo Agenda, which was at promoting unity and oneness by the current political dispensation, has ensured the peace being enjoyed in the State.
The Environment Commissioner praised Governor Bello for his relentless effort in securing lives and property of Kogi people which has made the state to maintain its led as one of the most peaceful states in the country.
According to Chief Omofaiye, the landmark achievements of the Governor since assumption of office are unprecedented in the Education, health, agriculture and provision of quality infrastructure among others.
The Commissioner stated that the State has a responsive and responsible Governor who has demonstrated great capacity to deliver in any task given to him.
He enjoined the people of the State to give Governor Bello their maximum support for the state to witness more gains of democracy.
Chief Omofaiye emphasized the need for the people to be law abiding and cooperate with security agents in their bid to make the State better secured than ever.
