Kogi Education Ministry Kicks Off Private Schools Revalidation Exercise

The Kogi State Ministry of Education has officially commenced the revalidation exercise for private schools across the state.

 

According to a statement by Salami Ere Matthew, Director, Basic and Secondary Education, the move is aimed at ensuring that all private schools are operating within the guidelines set by the Ministry as school proprietors are required to come forward for revalidation.

“With the exercise scheduled to take place from 23rd September, 2024 to 17th October, 2024, all private school owners are urged to make their way to the ministry with the necessary documents. These documents include a photocopy of the Approval/Operational Certificate, Class Population details, Attendance Registrars, as well as phone numbers and email addresses.

 

“The purpose of the revalidation exercise is to verify the authenticity of private schools operating in the state and to ensure that they are meeting the necessary educational standards. By participating in the exercise, school proprietors will not only be complying with regulations but also contributing to the overall improvement of the education sector in Kogi State.
