Kogi SGS Extends Love to Muslim Widows at Ramadan

As Muslims continue in the annual Ramadan Fast, the Secretary to the Government of Kogi State, Dr. Folashade Ayoade in her usual Philanthropy gesture has reached out to Muslim Widows to enable them to break their fast.

Dr. Ayoade, a Philanthropist per Excellence is known for always reaching out to Orphans, Widows and the Down trodden through her Non Governmental Organization, Folashade Ayoade Initiative for Widows and Orphans (FAIWO).

This particular Gesture was aimed at cushioning the effect of the economy on the sufferings of Widows by allowing them to effectively perform the Fast which is one of the pillars of Islam.

The SGS while addressing the Widows congratulated them on the Ramadan fast, saying the gesture was as a result of her promise to stand by them always.

She urged them not to be deterred by their condition and challenges but continue to put their trust in God and be responsible examples for their children to emulate.

Dr. Ayoade solicited that the Widows use the Ramadan fast to pray for the success of the Chief Servant of Kogi State, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu especially their re-election bids.

She also appealed to them to uphold the lessons of the period which includes; humility, fear of God and Sacrifice, while calling for prayers for the peace and progress of the State.

The highly elated Widows, who took turns to offer prayers for the SGS, expressed gratitude to her for always standing by them during their times of need.

They noted that her appointment is a blessing to widows and the less privileged and prayed Allah to bless her endeavours.
