The Vice Chancellor of Kogi State University, Kabba, Professor K.I.T. Eniola, fNSM, FRA, has extended heartfelt birthday wishes to Ambassador (Chief) Sola Enikanolaiye, the Asoju-Oba of Ife-Olukotun Kingdom, and Senior Special Assistant to the President on International Relations and Diplomacy, describing him as an extraordinary diplomat, technocrat, and humanitarian.
In a goodwill message made available to newsmen on Sunday in Kabba by the the university’s spokesman, Tade Oshaloto, Professor Eniola noted that the celebration of Ambassador Enikanolaiye’s birthday is a celebration of a life marked by excellence, discipline, integrity, and remarkable service to the nation.
Applauding the former Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on his decision to institute the Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye Scholarship Award for Academic Excellence at Kogi State University, Kabba, the Vice Chancellor particularly noted that his decision to replicate the gesture which he enjoyed as the best graduating student decades earlier is an unimpeachable advertisement of his patriotism, and commitment to keeping the torch of hard work, dignity of labor and academic excellence perpetually lit.
