A Stalwart of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Sikiru Hamza has congratulated the newly elected Executive Chairman of Ijumu Local Government Area, Alh. Haruna Ibrahim on his overwhelming victory at the just concluded Council election.

Hon. Hamza in a statement described the victory as well deserved, saying the election was free, fair and credible.
He saluted Kogi State Independent Electoral Commission (KOSIEC) for conducting what he called the most peaceful Local Government election in the history of the State.
The APC Stalwart, who is a Revenue Consultant to Kogi State Government on Haulage noted that the election was peaceful and transparent across the State.
According to him, the rancour free conduct of the election has again demonstrated that the State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo is doing well in the task of providing good governance and purposeful leadership for the people of the State.
“Let me with gratitude to Allah and joy in my heart congratulate our newly elected Executive Chairman of Ijumu Local Government on his well deserved triumph at the just concluded Council Polls. The support you received from Ijumu people was massive and it is a demonstration that they believe in your leadership style.
“I wish to use this opportunity to salute the doggedness of Kogi State Independent Electoral Commission (KOSIEC) in conducting a violence free and credible election. The arrangements put in place by the Electoral umpire was commendable and I’m optimistic that our great party is coasting to victory.
He commended the people of Ijumu Local Government for coming out in their numbers to exercise their franchise in a peaceful manner without any form of violence.
Hon. Hamza lauded the Security Agencies in the State for giving credibility to the election with professional conduct.
