The National Leadership of Iyara Development Association (IDA) has congratulated the people of the community on the new Year 2024, appreciating them for their support in the outgone year.
The National President of IDA, Alh. Aliyu Badaki, who made the remark in a statement through the National Public Relations Officer, Emmanuel Oluwakorede, 2024 will be a year of New Dawn for people of the Community with promotion, peace and development.
Alh. Badaki expressed profound gratitude of IDA to stakeholders and people of Iyara for their prayers and support to the Community and solicited for more in the New Year.
He emphasized the need for love, unity of purpose and selfless service which are necessary ingredients for any society to witness unprecedented development.
In his words, “on behalf of the National executive of Iyara Development Association IDA, I congratulate our people both home and diaspora for making it into the New Year. All thanks to Almighty God for His protection over everyone of us in time past. We’re also optimistic that He will protect us in the New Year and beyond.
He noted that the task of developing the Community is a collective one, urging all and sundry in Iyara to support course peace, oneness and progress.
The National President prayed for a united, peaceful and blissful Iyara in 2024 and expressed satisfaction with the spate of development in the Community, calling on other well-to-do to emulate Indigenes investing in their Jerusalem.
He furthers states that “Iyara Cultural Day holds on 26th of October this year and we’re hopeful that it will be another opportunity to bring our people together and contribute to Community development. We will continue to count on your support and prayers.
We also hope to role out some programmes this year that will attract people to the Community.
