New Year: LG Boss Congratulates Ijumu People, Restates Commitment to Unity, Security

The Executive Chairman of Ijumu Local Government, Alh. Haruna Ibrahim has congratulated people of the Local Government on the successful transition into the New Year.

 

He expressed gratitude to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo of Kogi State for providing the platform to serve and Commended the Governor’s exemplary leadership, which has brought significant progress and relief to the state and citizens.

He stated:

“It is with joy and gladness that I welcome the entire people of Ijumu Local Government to a fulfilling and prosperous year. I want to extend my heartfelt felicitations to our father, leader, and the pride of Kogi State, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo. You are not just a leader but one with a difference. We appreciate your absolute commitment to governance, which has ushered in succor and development to our dear state and its people.

 

To my esteemed traditional fathers, stakeholders, community developers, humanitarians, and all noble sons and daughters of our local government, I appreciate every bit of your support and commitment. Together, we shall achieve great things and make our dear local government and state our paradise on earth.

 

It is with utmost gratitude that I appreciate my teaming supporters whose dedication has brought me this far. I promise to remain committed to our cause of making Ijumu Local Government a notable example worthy of emulation.

 

I also extend my heartfelt gratitude to my team. It is great working with you all, and I urge you to do more this year.

 

I remain resolute in our journey to make Ijumu Local Government a better place. My administration is open to all. Ijumu is ours, and together we shall make it great.”

 

The Chairman also restated his commitment to prioritizing the welfare of the people, securing the lives and properties of citizens, fostering peaceful coexistence, and driving enviable growth and development.

 

He thanked the people of Ijumu for their steadfast efforts in fostering peace and contributing to the development of their communities.
