NNPP Members Booed  Kwankwaso in Kogi

The New Nigerian Peoples Party Presidential Candidate, Engineer Rabiu Musa Kwakwaso on Wednesday in Lokoja  pelted with sachet water and pebbles  while on tour of kogi state a visit

This is just as the Party Excos and members have vowed to resist him sinister motives to hand over the party structure to the elements of APC faction loyal to late Prince Abubakar Audu.

It took his security details hectic time to sandwich him into Edge Drive Hotel in lokoja, to save him from angry youths who were determined to deal ruthlessly with him.

The NNPP Presidential Candidate who had visited Ogbonicha the country home of late Prince Abubakar Audu, returned to Lokoja to meet a hostile reception by another faction of the NNPP, who felt the Presidential Candidate was given prominence to  the late Prince Audu’s faction of the NNPP over and above members of the new NNPP in the state.

The members who spoke to newsmen lamented that having waited since the early hours of the morning in lokoja, the Presidential Candidate abandoned them for the NNPP faction in the  former late Governor’s country home whom they claimed are still members of the APC.

The NNPP Presidential Candidate who arrived in a motorcade with few supporters was shouted down by the supporters, efforts to pacify them didn’t go down well, following the throwing of sachet water and stones at the Presidential Candidate.

It took the efforts of security men who whisked him to a popular hotel in the city capital for safety.

A media aide of the Presidential Candidate who identified himself as Musa Yunusa, described the action of the supporters as normal in politics, described Kogi as home to the Presidential Candidate.
