The Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, has confirmed his attendance at the Second Okun Nation’s Summit, scheduled for May 30-31, 2025, at the Olonijola Event Centre in Kabba.
This confirmation was made during a courtesy visit by the summit’s organizers, led by the National Coordinator of Okun Development Initiative, Dcn Olusuyi Otitoju.
The delegation, which included prominent Okun dignitaries and government officials of Okun extractions, expressed appreciation for Governor Ododo’s recent efforts in enhancing security and infrastructure development in the state. They pledged their support for his administration’s initiatives.
Governor Ododo, in response, commended the group’s efforts in promoting unity among the Okun people and assured them of his full support for their objectives.
The Second Okun Nation’s Summit promises to be a significant event, bringing together stakeholders to discuss issues affecting the Okun nation and fostering unity and development.
