Opinion: Kogi Former Govs. Failed us in Igala land

I speak with all honesty and without reservation, fear of contradiction that the Igala leaders who served us after Prince Abubakar Audu from Kogi East as governors should hide their heads in shame and disgrace.
It is now I know that I actually come to the realization that they really failed us and it will be remembered in history that there is nothing to show for their period in office.
Have you gone to Okene recently?  Did you see the reference hospital? History will be kind to Yahaya Bello. He has written his name in gold before his people. I am not saying every Governor should focus in his Senatorial District.
But assuming former Governors Ibrahim Idris and Captain Idris Ichalla Wada made efforts to get accreditation for KSU medical college, build and furnish the teaching hospital. Assuming they built the quality of reference hospital in Okene, the standard of general hospital in Gegu, the type in Ajaokuta in all local governments in Igala and Bassa land, will they die?
Is it the erosion control in Agasa and other places you want to mention? Or the rehabilitation of streets in Okene and other projects Yahaya  Bello did that you want to talk about?
Have you seen the kind of medical ware and equipment in the hospitals?
Yes, he developed his community, assuming every past Governor developed their own place will the state not be evenly developed?
Thank you Bello for teaching us how one can stand up for his people. Charity begins at home.
I am a reporter, I went with the team to see projects inspected ahead of commissioning and I must say our brothers who ruled before now failed to use the opportunities available to them to develop the state, particularly Igala land.
It’s saddening to say it took an Ebira Governor to construct the road to Idah, traditional headquarters of Igala land where the Attah lives and Igala sons were Governor’s these years. Achukata! Anyo.
It even took an Ebira Governor to control the erosion golly in Ogane Aji Anyigba that has claimed several lives when we had an Igala  Governor from that local government. What about the abandoned Idah zonal hospital before Bello’s rehabilitation?
Now I see through some of the things Fr. DonBon Opaluwa about the wasted years of some of our leaders. Yes, based  on patriotism, Don Bon frowned at the philosophy behind Enemuneme, but the realities are steering at us.
Enemune may  not be good, but in the instance of the shameful outing of our previous leaders, the axion of Enemuneme is appearing to be applicable to what our failed leaders have put us through.
Until we start transporting to Okene and Gegu from Ankpa, Okpo and other places in Igala land for medical check up that is when we will know how it feels to have leaders who are only concerned about themselves and their families.
Shame on you. Achukata, Anyo, Atogbo to all those who ridiculed us and caused us shame.
Election is around the corner in 2023 let’s still not use our brain.
If you like insult me, you know the truth.
