PERSONAL INITIATIVE AND PROFESSIONAL CAREER

Architect Salman Idris’ outstanding passion for the provision of job opportunities to the teeming unemployed youths, communal and selfless service, the promotion of professionalism in architecture in particular and the building profession in general, and the discovery of untapped talents prompted him to establish his firm, SA’IDKRAFT PROJECT, with a head office in Abuja. Till date, he is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the above-named firm that has engaged and is still engaging youths from Okun, especially Kabba-Bunu / Ijumu Federal Constituency, and Nigeria as a whole who are ready and willing to build a professional career in the architecture and building professions and beyond. Just like his late father, Architect Salman Idris has contributed his quota towards the growth, progress, and development of Ayegunle Gbede, the Ijumu Kingdom, the Okun Nation, Kogi State, and Nigeria via community development services, youth engagement, skill acquisition programs, women’s empowerment, and service to humanity in general. He is one of the illustrious sons of Ayegunle Gbede who have silently contributed to the development of the community. Out of his magnanimity, he gave scholarships to secondary school students of Okun extraction by paid for Joint Admission and Matriculation Board Examination (JAMB) forms for them, paying for their West Africa Examination Council (WAEC) and National Examination Council (NECO) examination fees, and assisting some of them to secure admission into tertiary institutions of learning of their choice through the National Association of Okun Students (NAOS) some years ago.

I hereby solicit the support of our people all over the thirty political wards in Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency and, as well, recommend him for the said office for the growth, progress, development, and betterment of our people, the constituency, Nigerian youths, and Nigeria as a nation.
