Over 10,000 Applicants Justle For Sen. Karimi 3000 Students Bursary in Kogi

Over Ten thousand applications have so far been received by the Central Committee of the Senator Sunday Steve Karimi Education Foundation and Tinubu Support Group Bursary 2025 award.

 

In a statement by the Committee, the Committee says the application while encouraging is however tasking making this year’s process of selection more competitive and demanding.

 

They however said the current stage of student registration is still ongoing, progressing gradually and smoothly, encouraged those who are yet to apply but are qualified to do so on https://portal.sundaykarimi.org/signup/ before close of the midnight of Sunday, August 31, 2025, when the portal will be closed for all registrations.

 

The Committee urge all students experiencing minor issues with their registration to resolve them before the registration deadline, as previously stated, pointing out that only students who register successfully will be considered for the bursary award.

 

The Committee said the Senator Sunday Steve Karimi Education Foundation and Tinubu Support Group are committed to prioritizing the welfare of Kogi State students, ensuring a credible, fair, and transparent selection process for all successful applicants

 

The Central Committee of the ‘Senator Sunday Steve Karimi Education Foundation and Tinubu Support Group Bursary 2025’ sincerely appreciated the resilience and response of Kogi State students to this year’s bursary award for all Kogi State indigenous students in public tertiary institutions across Nigeria.

 

3000 tertiary Institution Students from Kogi State are expected to benefit Sen. Karimi’s Tinubu’s Educational Support Group Bursary Award in the State.

 

Out of the 3000 tertiary institution students, 1000 from Kogi East, 610 from Central and 1390 from West Senatorial Districts of Kogi State respectively are set to benefit from President Tinubu’s Educational Support Group Bursary Award.

 

The bursary empowerment which offers a year scholarship for tuition is facilitated by Sen. Sunday Steve Karimi’s Education Foundation.

 

Sen. Karimi Representing Kogi West Senatorial District in the National Assembly made the disclosure, had announced the commencement of the bursary for Higher Institution Students across the State.

 

The Senator disclosed that each of the beneficiary of the Bursary is to benefit N100,000, commenced the application for the bursary on 1st August , will run till the 31st AUGUST 2025.

 

Recalled that a similar bursary by Sen. Karimi for 1000 tertiary institution students was paid to students by the foundation last year, where the Senator expanded N100m to 1000 students.
