The Chief Executive Officer of Perfect Bread, Mr Timothy Iyamadi has described the award presented to him by Kogi Radio Personalities, KRP as a mega surprise, saying it will spur him to do more for the society.
He stated this when the group presented him with an award for excellence, human capacity building and economic development in Lokoja.
Mr. Iyamadi said the award came to him unexpectedly, as he didn’t know anyone or group was watching him and to notice his modest efforts.
He said production of bread was difficult with the current economic realities but would not relent in his efforts to continue to meet his obligation of producing bread for the people of the state and beyond.
The CEO of Perfect Bread appreciated members of the group for the recognition and promised not to relent in his efforts at meeting the needs of the people with regards to bread.
Presenting the award, the President of Kogi Radio Personalities, KRP, Comrade Ndamodu Ali said the group was a brain child of radio media practitioners.
He said the group honoured Mr. Iyamadi with the award based of his contributions to human capital development and the economy of Kogi state, as he had continued to ensure workers in his factory remained employed despite the economic situation in the country.
Comrade maintained that the KRP was proud to identify with Mr Iyamadi and wished him well in his business.
