A Stakeholder of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC in Ogidi-Ijumu, Rufus Obafemi has urged the former Chairman of Ijumu Local Government Area, Hon. Fehinti Dada to leave Social Democratic Party (SDP) and rejoin APC.
Obafemi, who met Hon. Dada during the burial reception of Late Olori Julianah Ayodele Fagbemi in Ekinrin-Adde, appealed to the former Director General of the Campaign Council for Kogi West, Muri/Abenemi to come back to the ruling party and support Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo to transform the State.
Obafemi urged the former Council Boss to set aside political differences and consider rejoining the All Progressives Congress (APC) to support the good work and continuity agenda of Governor Ododo.
He emphasized the inclusive governance style of Governor Ododo’s administration, which prioritizes Education, Health, Security, Human Development, and Stomach Infrastructure.
“I want to urge you to come back to your former party and support the administration of His Excellency, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo. The state is in need of your experience and dedication to propel its growth and development,” Mr. Obafemi expressed.
In response, the former Council Boss lauded the achievements of Governor Ododo’s administration, particularly commending the prompt payment of civil servant’s salaries, enhanced security, and initiatives focused on stomach infrastructure.
“I appreciate the progress made by His Excellency and acknowledge the positive impact of his policies. I pledge my support towards advancing the agenda of development and prosperity for our people,” the former Chairman affirmed.
