School Adoption: Kogi LG Auditor General Set to Distribute 11,000 Textbooks to Students

All is now set for the flag off of distribution of 11, 000 Physics and Chemistry Textbooks to Secondary School Students in Kogi State.

The gesture is being sponsored by the Auditor General for Local Government, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo as part of his support to the School Adoption Programme by the State Ministry of Education, Science and Technology.

The Ministry in a statement obtained by The Drum Reporters said “it is delightful to note that the initiative has been greatly patronized by well-meaning Kogites. One of such is Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, Auditor General of Local Government, who has deemed it fit to produce 11,000 copies of Physics and Chemistry Textbooks for public secondary schools across Kogi State.”

It explained that distribution of the textbooks will start with Secondary Schools in Kogi Central on Friday 11th November 2022 at Abdulaziz Atta Memorial College, Okene at 10:00am Prompt.
