The Federal University Lokoja on Saturday took a significant step toward improving the welfare and mobility of its staff and students, as two 32-seater buses were officially delivered to the Adankolo Campus.
Dr Tósìn Ọlágúnjú, Director, Directorate of Strategic Communication and Corporate Documentation of the University made this known in a statement.
Prof. Ibileye Pledges Enhanced Standards of FUL Halls of Residence
According to the statement, “this milestone achievement fulfills a key commitment made by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Gbenga Solomon Ibileye, during his first congregation meeting as the 4th Vice-Chancellor of the University.”
At that historic gathering, Professor Ibileye assured the University community of his administration’s resolve to address pressing transportation challenges, announcing that two buses would be provided in the first instance.
True to his word, the arrival of the buses marks not only the fulfillment of that promise but also a demonstration of purposeful leadership and a deep commitment to enhancing operational efficiency and campus life.
