Yagba East Constituency: Kogi Born Entrepreneur Cum Mining Engineer Set To Declare to Contest KSHA Seat

A Kogi born Entrepreneur and Mining Engineer, Engr. David Oni Sunday is set to declare his intention to run for Yagba East Constituency seat in the State House of Assembly.

 

Engr. Sunday in a statement obtained by The Drum Reporter said he will declare his intention on Friday 6th March 2026 at Isanlu Town hall, headquarters of the Local Government at 10am.

The statement reads in part, “With deep humility and a strong sense of responsibility, I will on Friday 6th March, 2026 formally declare my ambition to represent our great constituency in the Kogi State House of Assembly.”

 

As a mining engineer, grassroots politician, and committed philanthropist, my journey has always been about service, empowerment, and practical solutions to the challenges facing our communities. I believe Yagba East deserves purposeful representation that listens, understands, and delivers.

 

“I warmly invite you all to join me as we take this important step together. Your presence, prayers, and support will mean a great deal as we begin this movement for progress, unity, and sustainable development, he added.

 

Engr. Sunday solicited the support of stakeholders and people of Yagba East to move the Constituency to greater heights.
