A Vibrant Political Support Group, 36 Political Elevation Group (36 PEG) has applauded Kogi State Deputy Governor, Comrade Joel Salifu, for his loyalty to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and outstanding contributions to the success story of the present administration.

Convener of the Group, Prince Dan Olaitan Dada in a statement made available to The Drum Reporter in Lokoja extends heartfelt appreciation to Comrade Salifu for his outstanding contributions to the state’s development.
His leadership in flood management, conflict resolution, and women empowerment has been truly remarkable.
Prince Dan enumerated some notable contributions of the Deputy Governor to include; Leading efforts in managing the 2024 floods in Kogi State as Chairman of the Flood Response Committee, successfully brokering an amicable settlement of the boundary dispute between Kogi and Enugu States and facilitating payment of compensation to victims of the GSM Village fire disaster in Lokoja.

Others the Convener added are; women’s empowerment and grassroots development, Fostering unity and cooperation among labor leaders and traditional rulers as well as representing Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo with humility and an open-door policy.
Prince Dan maintained that the remarkable performance necessitated the Award as Nigeria’s Best Deputy Governor for 2025 and apoointment as Chairman of the Kogi State Human Capital Development Council.
We also commend his unwavering support to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, whose synergy has been instrumental in driving the administration’s agenda forward. His dedication to service, leadership skills, and commitment to the greater good are qualities that make him an asset to Kogi State.
