Kogi State Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Hon. Wemi Jones on Sunday appealed to the Tiv Community residing in the State to vote massively for All Progressives Congress APC Candidates in the next general elections.
Hon. Jones made the appeal at the end of the year get-together organized by Ayede Bunu Tiv Community, in Ayede, Kabba-Bunu Local Government Area.
The Commissioner said the present administration of Alh. Yahaya Bello has created a conducive atmosphere for them to do business, hence the need to reciprocate the gesture by support the continuity of all APC Candidates from Presidential to House of Assembly.
The Commissioner pointed out that APC has fielded credible candidates such as Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for President, Hon. Sunday Karimi for Kogi West Senatorial District, Prince Matthew Kolawole for Kabba-Bunu Ijumu Federal Constituency and Hon. Seyi Bello for State House of Assembly.
He tasked them to collect their permanent voters card and vote for the Progressive party that has better the lot of Nigerians.
The Commissioner promised to continue to stand by the Tiv Community and urged them to leave in peace with their host community, Ayede Bunu.
Hon. Jones applauded the Tiv people for contributing to the socio economic wellbeing of Ayede Bunu Community, assuring of the commitment of the present administration in providing the needed atmosphere for doing business.
