As Nigeria prepares for another general election next year, electorate and those vying for political office have been asked to make God the center of their lives in all ramifications.
The Ach Deacon and vicar in charge of Emmanuel Anglican church Lokoja, Venerable Godwin Mopah Kadiri, gave the charge shortly after his Christmas sermon with journalist in Lokoja, the Kogi State Capital.
Venerable Kadiri said, political office holders have put Christ aside making things difficult for themselves and the Masses, urging them to return back to God as everything on Earth was created by him (God) adding that, the Nation must put God first in all their dealings.
“this is the son of God that the Bible said He was there from the beginning and He was God Himself ”
Venerable Kadiri said the significance of the birth of Jesus Christ is to save the world from sin, urging Nigerians to live a righteous life.
Christmas is celebrated to remember the birth of Jesus Christ, who Christians believe is the Son of God. The name ‘Christmas’ comes from the Mass of Christ or Jesus.
