The sixth edition of the annual event in Okunland known as *ILE’YA OMO OKUN*, has commenced with ZEETIA CARES.
According to the Organisers in a statement, the ZEETIA CARES segment is born out of the passion and love to giving back to the society most importantly the primary and secondary students.
Yeye Omoleye Adebanji Aiyelabowo, the Yeye Oge of Okun land said the aim is to aid their education through provision of basic school needs, saying this year’s ZEETIA CARE edition came with a different phase to complement the December festive season.
The season came with SANTA CLAUS(Father Christmas), a charitable moment that focus on children to support and hence their creativity, allowing children to experience the joy of fantasy, tradition and Culture.
The ZEETIA CARE SANTA CLAUS EDITION (Father Christmas), leaves a remarkable moment with the over 150 primary pupils and secondary students from 10 different schools within okunland that participated yesterday 13th of December 2024 at kabba as it connect with cultural traditions and family customs. It also fosters a sense of belonging and continuity, linking generations through shared experiences, dances,gifts and stories.
