Zambia has joined the race to bid for the hosting of the twenty twenty-five Africa Cup of Nations tournament.
Sports Minister, Elvis Nkandu says his country has expressed interest to host the 35th Edition of Africa biggest football showpiece.
Zambia has joined the likes of Algeria, Burkina Faso and Morocco among countries bidding to host the biennial show piece.
Nkandu said his Ministry will start facilitating the bidding plan with various organizations and stakeholders to see the dream come to fruition.
He noted that Zambia will start talks for the twenty twenty-five edition as soon as the 2023 Ivory Coast edition is done.
