Kogi State Government has concluded plans to conduct statewide School Census.
To this end, a stakeholders sensitization programme is to hold on Thursday 19th January 2023 at the Glass House, Government House Lokoja beginning from 10am.
A Statement by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology explained that the exercise was aimed at enhancing planning in the State Education sector.
The Statement reads “The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology is set to commence the 2021/2022 AND 2022/2033 annual school census. Annual School Census is the collection and analysis of accurate Data for education planning.”
“ASC is an all-important exercise as the State needs accurate and actual Data to plan educational activities.”
“The Ministry requests the presence of the Education Stakeholders at the sensitization and advocacy event. The essence is to ensure mass awareness and cooperation from all to ensure the success of the exercise.
Relevant stakeholders are hereby urged to be punctual.
