Gov. Ododo Attends Official Opening of Medinat-Irfan Academy in Okene, Reaffirms Commitment to Education

In a bid to promote education and foster all-round development in Kogi State, the Commissioner for Education, Hon Wemi Jones FCIB, represented the Governor of Kogi State Alhaji Usman Ododo at the official opening of Medinat-Irfan Academy in Eruku-Agaza, Okene, Kogi State today.

During his address at the ceremony, Hon Wemi Jones highlighted the importance of education in addressing the challenges of Western civilization in the 21st century. He emphasized the role of Islamic education in shaping young minds and preparing them for the future.

The commissioner further stated that the Kogi State government has shown its commitment to education by providing free education from primary to secondary school levels. This initiative is aimed at ensuring that every child in the state has access to quality education.

 

Hon Wemi Jones expressed his appreciation to the initiator and proprietor of Medinat-Irfan Academy for their dedication to providing quality education to the children of Okene. He also reassured them of government support to help the school flourish and achieve its academic goals.
