After 3 Years of Darkness, LG Chairman Reconnects Community To National Grid in Kogi

There has been jubilation as the Executive Chairman of Ijumu Local Government Area, Alh. Haruna Ibrahim has reconnected Origah Community to national grid after three years of darkness.

 

During an earlier visit, the Chairman had promised to restore electricity to the community, and he has now fulfilled the pledge by commencing the installation of a 200kVA transformer.

The move has changed the narrative in the Community as people of Origah are appreciative of the Executive Chairman of for fulfilling his promise.

 

The community described the Executive Chairman, as a blessing to Ijumu Local Government, appreciating Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, for believing in him and described Alh. Haruna as a leader who listens to the people and prioritizes their welfare.

 

Speaking on behalf of the community, Mr. Ali noted that they had been without electricity for over three years.

 

He extended his gratitude to the Chairman for his dedication to improving their lives. Another speaker also thanked the Governor, acknowledging that the Chairman is diligently following in his footsteps.
