The member representing Yagba Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Elder Leke Abejide has promised to pay WAEC fees for all SS 3 Students in Schools across Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency next year.

Elder Abejide, who did not disclose whether the payment would cover Private and Public Schools, made the promise while speaking at the 2022 Ogidi Day celebration in Ijumu Local Government Area.

In his words “i want to announce to every parent here that by the grace of God, as from next year, no parent will pay WAEC fees in this Constituency.”

He charged the people of Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency to vote enmasse for the candidates of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for their wards to enjoy free WAEC throughout the next political dispensation.

Elder Abejide congratulated the Ologidi of Ogidi land, Oba Rabiu Sule and Ogidi Development Union executive for working hard to preserve the culture of the community.

On the forthcoming general election, the Federal Lawmaker declared his support for former Lagos State Governor, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu who is contesting under the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
