The Executive Chairman of Ijumu Local Government Area, Alh. Haruna Ibrahim says the ongoing rehabilitation of Ayetoro Gbede Township Road by the present administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo is a sign of a new dawn for the Community and the Local Government.
Alh. Haruna stated this when he joined other Political Office Holders in Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency on an inspection of Projects sponsored by the Governor Ododo led administration in the Constituency.
The Chairman, who was elated with the quality of work done so far, said Ijumu people are grateful to the Chief Servant of the State for remembering Ayetoro Gbede and Ijumu by extension in his drive of giving the State a face lift in the Area of providing of infrastructure.
“I’m happy that this gigantic project is happening during my time as the Local Government Chairman. As you can see, this is a done of a New Era. His Excellency, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo has done this for us and I believe that this is just the first phase that we are expecting in Ijumu Local Government,” Alh. Haruna stated.
“I want to thank the Governor, for giving back to our people, for fulfilling his campaign promises to the people. He promised to provide smooth infrastructure all over the State and Ijumu is feeling it.
He applauded Kogi State Road Maintenance Agency KOGROMA for doing excellent job, saying the work done so far is commendable.
The Chairman noted that the Local Government will reciprocate the love of the Governor at the appropriate time.
